Project overview

WordPress Content Cards is a focused plugin for reusable card content in the Gutenberg editor. Its source is publicly available for inspection.

Role and responsibilities

The project brings together WordPress plugin development, editor integration, PHP rendering, and responsive styling.

Project context

The scope stays deliberately small: a reusable content block with accessible HTML output and responsive presentation.

Engineering approach

The implementation uses native Gutenberg APIs, with PHP rendering the frontend markup. It does not require ACF. This keeps the project separate from my broader ACF and headless WordPress work.

Technical considerations

Keeping the block focused makes its rendering approach easier to inspect. Accessible output still needs to be considered within the surrounding theme and page heading structure; this is not a claim of a complete accessibility audit.

Current status

The plugin is published as an open-source project. The repository documents its implementation, usage, and testing limitations.
