About / Cole Futch

The developer
behind OrbitalArchitectX.

I'm Cole Futch, a frontend developer focused on building reliable, maintainable web platforms.

Frontend work, in production.

I currently work on the digital experience at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. My responsibilities include frontend development and maintenance for guest-facing content, events, and visitor information.

I work with Astro, Vue, TypeScript, WordPress, ACF, and PHP, contributing reusable components, headless CMS integrations, multilingual implementation, and ongoing platform improvements in collaboration with marketing and content teams.

A systems perspective.

My earlier professional background is in IT infrastructure and systems administration. That experience informs how I approach reliability, maintainability, and technical problem-solving in development work.

I value practical solutions, clear implementation boundaries, and workflows that make it easier to support a platform as its needs change.

Room to explore.

Alongside production development, I explore Nuxt, Laravel, open-source software, and application architecture. Personal projects give me room to work through API integrations, scheduled processing, and ideas beyond my day-to-day responsibilities.
