Project overview
The digital experience at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex supports public-facing content, events, and visitor information. My work contributes to the ongoing development and maintenance of this platform alongside marketing and content teams.
Role and responsibilities
I develop frontend components, integrate content from headless WordPress and ACF, support multilingual implementation, and help maintain the production experience. This is collaborative platform work; my contribution does not represent sole ownership of the platform or its architecture.
Project context
Visitor information and event content need to work within a consistent frontend while remaining manageable for the people who publish them. The work spans content components, CMS integration, and ongoing production support.
Engineering approach
Astro, Vue, and TypeScript support the frontend implementation. Reusable content components connect the visitor-facing experience with content managed through WordPress and ACF. Collaboration with marketing and content teams helps keep implementation aligned with publishing needs.
Technical considerations
The work involves balancing reusable presentation with flexible content, supporting multilingual implementation, and maintaining the platform as content and requirements evolve. Reliability and maintainability guide ongoing improvements.
Current status
Development, maintenance, and platform improvements are ongoing. This case study describes my contribution at a high level; it does not disclose proprietary code, internal infrastructure, or unsupported business and performance results.
